BIOGRAPHY
Ekta has over fifteen years of combined real estate and investment
banking experience spanning portfolio management, asset
management, and capital raising.
Most recently, Ekta served in a key leadership role at Bain Capital, driving the
development of the retail asset management function and integration efforts with
11North Partners.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Ekta was a Vice President at AEW Capital
Management, where she led a team of retail asset management specialists and
was personally responsible fora portfolio of over 3 million square feet of open-air
retail centers.
Operating discipline is what turns a well-located center into a durable asset.
Previously, Ekta also held roles at Brookfield Properties and Brookfield Asset Management, where she covered NYC-based retail assets and supported global capital raising efforts for real estate funds totaling more than $20 billion in commitments. She began her career at Citigroup in investment banking and credit portfolio management. Ekta graduated from the University of Michigan with a BS in Mathematics of Finance and Risk Management and received an MS in Real Estate from New York University.
